A home remodel contractor who values relationships.

After working for the family construction business for over a decade and a half, James started James Dalton Construction in 2015 to help others realize their dreams.

Over the years, James has completed thousands of full home, kitchen, and bath remodeling projects and can quickly address challenges along the way. Focusing on the spaces where clients spend the most time, we take the mundane functional aspects of a house and create a beautiful home.

James and his wife, Steph, have spent years providing quality remodels in the Kingsgate neighborhood of Kirkland, and loved the community so much that they moved into the neighborhood where so many of their home renovations are located to better connect with and serve the community and their clients.

Through upfront, honest, and regular communication, the team at James Dalton Construction ensures clients enjoy the remodel process, not just the finished product. Tyler is a second generation carpenter with 22 years of experience and also carries an architecture degree. He spends half of his time on site and half designing projects. His passion to create art that will change your life is unmatched.
Lilli Troyer, Kitchen Remodel Project Manager

As a specialist in finish carpentry, Lilli can fix anything in your home. Lilli’s care for our clients will be evident to you throughout the remodel process and her attention to detail provides a level of trust and confidence that your project will be taken care of from beginning to end.

As a carpenter in training, Dakota supports the team with demo work, delivery, and basic sheetrock, flooring, and trim installs. Dakota is driven with a thirst for knowledge. You’ll see he is extremely thoughtful and responsible, ensuring you are comfortable throughout the remodel process.
